geoidep 0.5.0 (2026-10-01)

• The data catalogue (get_data() / get_data_sources() / get_providers()) now reads the CSV bundled with the package instead of the remote copy, so catalogue queries always match the installed code and work offline (CRAN-safe); use options(geoidep = <url>) for a custom catalogue. The reader also accepts both ;- and ,-separated files.

• The vignette degrades gracefully when the INEI/Geobosque services are unreachable (live chunks are skipped with a note instead of failing).

• Updated get_early_warning() of Geobosques with new API of interoperability only of year 2026.

• Now you can downloads the 68 public WFS layers of the OEFA (sistemas.oefa.gob.pe/pifa/mfe) with the new function get_oefa_data().

geoidep 0.4.1

• New: IGP seismic catalogs via get_igp_seismic_data() — downloads the instrumental (1960-present) and historic (1471-1959) catalogs from the IGP seismic data repository (https://ultimosismo.igp.gob.pe/repositorio/datos-sismicos) with the same filters as the web form (dates, magnitude, depth) and returns an sf POINT layer (EPSG:4326) clipped to any user-supplied polygon (its bounding box is used internally to narrow the download). The XLSX response is parsed with base R only, so no additional package is required.

• Full refactor: scripts reorganised by provider (inei.R, geobosque.R, serfor.R, mtc.R, sernanp.R, inaigem.R, senamhi.R, mapbiomas-alerta.R, mapbiomas-lulc.R, mapbiomas-fire.R); dead MIDAGRI/SIGRID code removed.
• CRAN compliance: timeouts on every internet request, all network examples moved to \dontrun{}, tests skip gracefully offline/on CRAN, vignette builds without internet access.
• Dropped dependencies: httr, progress, geojsonio, glue; progress bars now use cli/httr2::req_progress().
• New: MapBiomas Peru Collection 4 support in get_mapbiomas_peru_lulc().
• Geobosques backend migration: the legacy geobosques.minam.gob.pe/.../ws/rest API is offline (HTTP 404), so get_forest_loss_data() now queries the current Geobosques platform (bosques-app.pe, GET /api/forest-loss/wet-forest-list?ubigeoCode=). Same arguments and same output columns (anio, perdida, rango1-rango5, ubigeo), now with the 2001-2025 wet-forest series at district, province and department level.
• Vignette: section 6 now compares each Loreto province against the departmental mean in a faceted line chart.
